Ickwell Garden Cricket 2008 collage

August ~ CHARITY GARDEN GOLF DAY

This will be held on Friday 20th August starting at 2.30pm at the Cricket Club.
 
As a reminder to what this entails, here's what happens :-
 
There are several "Pitch and Putt" holes in residents gardens around the green, as well as several on the green itself, and these holes create a 'round' of golf. At each of the garden holes there is Beer/Lager/Wine (or soft Drinks), and each golfer partakes in a drink before playing the hole. There is also a 'drinks table' for the holes on the green. There are prizes for best score etc..
 
There will be a Bar-B-Que in the evening (a Bunny special) for golfers, their partners, and non-golfers are welcome.
 
The event is intended as a Fun day, but also a day to raise money for charity. Once again the proceeds for the day will go to the Macmillan Nurses Appeal fund.
 
To raise funds, there is an entry fee for golfers and also non-golfers attending the Bar-B-Que. It is also possible to 'sponsor a hole' for individuals or companies. There will, of course, be a raffle !
 
Entry fees are :-
 
Golfers £20 - This includes a Bar-B-Que ticket for player and partner/spouse.
 
Non-Golfers £5 - Bar-B-Que Only
 
Anyone wishing to sponsor a hole, this will be £25, and there will be a sponsors notice at the hole.
 
There is a limited number of players, so please get your name in to one of the people below to reserve your place. Also there is a deadline of Wednesday 18th August for the players payment. (Cheques payable to Ickwell Cricket Club)
